Each of our two guest rooms has been recently redecorated to add freshness and style to the existing charm and character. Both rooms are on the first floor and accessed from an attractive galleried landing over the large hallway. Being a chalet bungalow our first-floor rooms have partly sloping ceilings which lend a cosy 'cottage' character.
Each room is very different, providing a real choice to guests and meeting a wide range of accommodation requirements. Both rooms are individually designed with flair and attention to detail. Tea and coffee making facilites are provided and high-quality towels and toiletries. All our beds are superbly comfortable, high-quality 'Sealy' beds, as chosen by many of the world's leading hotels and suitcase racks are provided for your convenience.
All rooms have flat-screen TVs with built-in Freeview and DVD players, and WiFi is available on request.
Both rooms have wonderful elevated views over the Dovey Valley to the hills and mountains beyond.
Super King-sized double room with en Suite
Twin bedded room with en suite
Family or shared room with en suite
This extremely spacious room is 'L' shaped, and has the double bed (or twin beds) in the south wing and a futon sofa-bed in the west wing, providing a separate 'lounge' area, (when occupied as a double or twin), or extra sleeping accommodation if required. It is suitable for multi-occupancy or as a family room, with the 'L' shape providing some degree of privacy for parents or sharing adults. It is furnished in warm antique pine. The room has fabulous views over the Dovey valley and southern Snowdonia beyond.
The en suite bathroom is also very spacious and recently refurbished (2013) with a new high quality white suite and a powerful thermostatic shower over the bath.
Standard double room with en Suite
Our standard sized double-bedded room provides plenty of space in a cosy cottage style but is decorated in light, modern colours and textures and furnished in crisp birch veneer, with green and gold trimmings. There are fine views over the Dovey Valley and the hills beyond through the 'Velux' window.
The en suite shower room is decorated with blue tiles.
Due to sloping ceiling, the very tallest guests may find the shower a little cramped.
